Ok I have a 1999 Ford F250 with the 7.3. Never had a problem untill today 195,000 miles.
Went out this morning and started right up (pluged in and about 0 to -10 out) went inside to grab my coffee, went back out and my truck wasnt running. Tried to start it no luck. No wait to start light and no fuel pump sound.
Started to check fuses and found a 30 amp fuse under the steering wheel was blown (right side of fuse box bottom one)
I thought maybe the fuel pump was going bad so I pulled the wires from it, tossed in a new fuse and it blew right away.
Any help would be great. I am thinking of pulling the fuel heater in the fuel bowl (well unplug it) and see if that is causing the fues to blow.
Well I disconected the plug at the bottom of the fuel bowl tossed in a new fuse and it started right up. Now I have to figure out exactly what that sensor/heater/whatever is and get a new one.
Looking at the engine from the front of the truck it would be on the back side bottom.
