After searching, I found this same question was asked in 2004 (not sure what year the truck was) and recieved no response at all...
Is there a wiring harness that will connect the 3 red ID lights on the rear of a 2008 F250. I don't really want to splice, but I just added the ID/clearance lights to the front, and to be completely correct, figured I should add them to the back, too.

Not to steal your thread, but where did you get the front and read lights?
I got the front lights from hellerford on ebay, they say they have 4 kits left for a 2008, just make sure you tell them if you have sat. radio or not.
I have not purchased the rear yet, but when I took my headliner out I broke the covers on my hanger posts. I'm going to the dealer later to get new ones, and I'm going to get the rear lights, too.
the kit on ebay was just under $90 shipped. Check with you dealer for how much 5 lights and the harness will cost. Some say they can get it for $60, but it would have been $110 here.
Since they are not OEM on SRW trucks, you will need to splice the harness at the rear of the truck
I thought they were OEM for trucks that came with clearance lights...
if i have to splice, I am going to customize the harness. I'll find a connector and splice it into my tail light circuit. That way they are removable should anything ever happen to them.
I tied mine in to the license plate lights, down stream of the factory connector.
I spliced in a quick connect in case I need to pull the bumper.
If you undo the connector and disconnect the lights, you can solder and shrink wrap it fairly easily at your workbench instead of laying under the truck.
Same as a few others here,,, I tied into the licence plate lights power. It's simple, convenient, clean and it works fine.
When I did mine I was convinced that the SWD Trucks did not have the factory plug on the older Trucks, I can't say for sure the '08s do or do not, but I would guess no. You could take a look. Who knows? Maybe you might find one just waiting for you.
