I have a 66 Ford F-100 and it has bad cancer around the front cab corners on the roof by the gutters. It can be fixed but would it be worth the time concidering that the floors are also rusted? If I were to get a good cab can I swap over the vins so I can keep the original title? The truck was given to me on my wedding day and it is the truck that my wife and her family (mom, dad, brothers, ect) grew up with. So I would like to keep it as close to the orginal truck as I can. Other than the cab all the rest of the truck is good. Please if this makes any sense give me alittle help here.
Kris Welcome aboard, I did a quick check on your user and to see you were from Tx. For a truck to be cancer ridden from Tx it has to be from Houston or the coast.
Check with your DMV for best answer. Here in NC no one bothers to look as of Jan 09, it could change next week but as of today, notta.
Also if it is that special to her family maybe they will kick in and help with the swap. They knew how bad it was when they let you have it. IMHO
