I think I looked at that, I have a AGR on my Jeep, but this one is also a saginaw style pump and you have cut your bracket and make it fit, knda a pain when I saw what you had to do.
I noticed that to, to bad they don't spec the factory style but I would think that its better than stock or parts store replacement since that's what they do
I agree and a heck of alot cheaper than the super pump, but I think I will go electric on my truck, Warnmakes a new 12000lb that has a blower and a hose to cool it, also the Mile Marker electric doesn't draw the amps a Warn does you should see the tests they have done doesn't get near as hot. but there biggest is a 12000, warn makes the 16.5. My Hyd. is great can pull all day, not as fast as electric but doesn't even get hot to touch.. Just kinda hard to hook up. But electric is also if you do it right, nice thing is we already have 2 batteries.
Well i use a locking cross pin, so mine doesnt walk off. As far as a behind the bumper mounting system, you might be better off with bulding a custom bumper. this way you have extra protection for your truck and winch, not to mention it would look cooler, jmo.
Using the 2" receiver for a winch mount, do you find that the winch gets jostled around a lot or rattle in the receiver?
i mounted some auxilary lights on the carrier and when i trun them on at night they dont move enough to be a distraction(plus even with the windows down and the radio off i dont hear it bouce around). So yes it gets bounced around but i dont think its enough to hurt it or really notice.
