Equal vs Unequal tubes

I know that shorty headers offer very little performance increase over stock, but how do the unequal headers like the Heddman Elite compare to the equal length headers?

Equal vs Unequal tubes

For a stock or mild motor, unequals are they way to go. Equal lenght are good for built motors or supercharger applications because they offer more hp at upper rpms, but on a stocker they would kill bottom end torque. Depending on your application, you may be surprised by the gains the shorties give you. They are a good compromise between manifolds and headers.
