Yea sure, I haven't noticed anything bad with just leaving it hang there. So far so good and it's been about 6 months now.

My CCV mod is not mounted to the factory bracket either... no need for it really. If you get bored and feel like fabbing one up go for it, but don't sweat not having one.

That's clean Justin. I think that Rick still has you beat though. Is your filter in the picture? If so, I don't see it.

What hose should I buy for this mod? And where do I get it? All I need is one 90* fitting. Correct?

Yes a 3/4" 90* and some 3/4" heater hose you should be able to get at any auto parts store the amount will depend on how far you want to run it out.

Used 4" exhaust pipe also. I wanted a factory look still, so I welded a piece of flat bar on it to mount like the original one, then painted it black.

Here's on of the whole engine compartment. Sorry it's from farther away, but you still can't tell anything has changed on the CCV.

If you're not as picky as I am, then just cut some extra from your exhaust, clean the burrs off the edges and install!

Don't know for sure. I'm guessing you're talking about the hose between the CCV and the filter? When I bought my Tymar it came with the mandrel bend 45* pipe, the connection hose, filter, etc. So I guess it could be.

Yep. And it looks like an early bird intake hose, my guess is Dale goes that route because with the late style setup there wouldn't be much room for putting the filter minder where he has it, plus it would be hard to get that same angle with the late style intake (looks like more clearance with his setup).
