Intercooler install parts?

Intercooler install parts?
Wanting to put a 6.0 intercooler in my 97 F350, checked on here about Intake spider for a early 99 found part # and they said it was about 150.00 from Ford. What I found out was that the early one is about 600.00 and after build date of 12/98 it was 150.00 am I looking for the wrong spider. looked at my friends today 8/98 and took pics, but couldn't see part #. What can I do to find right part and whats the differance in the two. Have some pics but don't have a URL to link.

I believe yes thats it had a BA early and a C after 12/98.the C was 158. my cost.1827060C1 the one on Ebay. looks right, all same size pipe or about. My understanding is the Turbo side is bigger on some.

The BA # is 600.00 from Ford I just got off the phone with them,the newer one or after 12/98 is 158.00. whats the differance?

You need the early one. the latter one is too tall and has too big of holes. The part number Tim gave you is the only one that will work.

Powerstrokeshop.com has them for around 150 I think. They did a little while ago at least. Ebay is a good place to get them too. I dont ahve the link handy for powerstrokeshop but i kno they are hard to find on that site so i will see if i can find it.
