I change my oil every 5,000 miles. My daily drive is 47 miles each way, 2 miles county road and the rest is rural state highway. Two traffic lights and 4 stop signs. I didn't get the hose nozzle version since I don't want anything sticking too far below though I did install the hose ring just to make sure.

I didn't buy the one with the hose barb either, I don't see the need to hook a hose to it. If anyone reading this thread installed a Fumoto but doesn't want their clip PM me, I'd like to have one for mine.

I had the debate about the nozzle myself. I finally went with it because I figured if I hit something enough to hit the nozzle...then 1/2 my truck would be torn off anyway. So I got it....but, I can tell you that it seems like it might take a while to drain, but what's the rush.
