Starting Problem
My truck is F150, 302 motor, 4 x4, and it is a standard. I wonder if anyone could help me with the starting problem that I am having. It starts great when it is cold but after about half an hour if I shut it off it gives me trouble starting, it will start only if i hold the gas pedal to the floor and it seems like it is flooding its self. I thought that it might have something to do with the throttle body. Any other ideas. My email is ve5lbd@yourlink.ca if anyone has any ideas what the problem could be, thanks, Larry

U should try checking ur fuel pressure and the regulator. Sometimes when the regulator goes bad it pumps fuel threw the vacccum line directly into the intake. Do u have black smoke out the exhaust? The regulator is located on the driver side rear of engine and has a vaccum line going into the center of it. Does the check engine light come on while driving or on all the time?
