Reading the little book it came with was "GREEK" to me( I expected as much).. Any good links on its potential and usage I could read through? Would like to learn about how to use it and better understand what i am looking at. I have a lap top coming that i will load it on. (i haven't loaded it yet). I was just thumbing through the book,EA's website and helpnetwork links. You know, study up before i plug it in so i have a better idea what is going on and what it can do for me other than reading codes? What have you done with it ? etc..
Once you start playing with it, AE isn't too difficult. There are things that you'll run across that you'll have questions or whatever. When that happens, feel free to post your question and we'll answer it for you.
There are a few guides that Alan came up with a few years ago for using AE. They are posted on the Roadside Help Network Guide, Maintenance and Mod tips page.
congrats on a great gift..like said above..you learn most by just playing with it...AE also has a forum you can ask questions and learn about things.. http://autoenginuity.com/AEForum/index.php
Dennis at ITP did have a forum... i cant seem to find it right now..
Thanks a bunch. I figured i will just have to plug it in and start playing with it. Can't wait, Never thought i would have a laptop in my tool box as a tool to fix cars..
