I guess the grass gripped the plates well enough? It wasn't a problem. You see how the belts peeled off, I didn't feel like thrashing the paint too badly, or the filler tubes for the gas tanks. The shredded tire held air for weeks, I was surprised
My buddy and I are going to make a burnout video. Cept we're throwing on tiny tires for effect. I'm gonna put some skinny little 31's on my truck and run them till they blow. I have to admit that was pretty cool though.
Heres mine. My old 78 still pretty stock. Should just weld the damn rear end but haven't got around to it. Does a good job blowing the one tire off though.

How do you like the Sammi? I have toyed with getting one. They look like it would be like driving an overgrown ATV with a heater
I love it, it's pretty stock, I just built bumpers, rocker protection, and skidplates for it, cuz it's my daily driver/part time wheeler, and I don't want to compromise the mileage and such. But it's amazing where it will go even with open diffs and total street tires, and I get 30-34 mpg with it Just don't get your hopes up for a heater... the result of 30mpg is less than stellar heat output.
If you want advice though, I got mine before they were the rage, now they are WAY overpriced, at least in my area. My Buddy just got a Bronco II and it does just as good but there is a little more space inside, In my area you can pick em up all day long for under $750. So there's my .02
