Ted! You know I own 5 Sammies right? You are not a man until you can pull up to a run with a samuri! None of these hunks can do the speed limit on the freeway, but I have one with a 6:1 t-case, yota axles with detroits and 5.29:1 gears, longfield axles, YJ leafs, and a 1.6L fuel injected engine.
Most fun I have ever had behind the wheel Honest! My brother and I giggle like little girls Thing sits in 35's every now and again, but mainly rolls on 33's. (thats huge for a sammi.) Dumb little truck is a blast! You have to get yourself one.
We built one for my sister in law, and she thought if she had it painted "pink" that we would not thrash it, or even set inside of the thing! Well she was wrong! Yes it takes a real man to drive a samuri, especially a pink one, but I do, and I will, as long as that thing runs, I will drive the wheels off of it.
There is nothing like American iron, but try getting behind the wheel of a little sammi, and you will want one for yourself. Promise!!!!! Lol.
