Upgrade , Base to CD
I have 99 base model f250 5.4 auto 4x4 with the am - fm radio only, Can I buy an OEM
CD player off Ebay and just plug and play it or will I have to do some wiring ?

As long as you use the 99-04 any of the Ford double dins should click right in. Be it single or 6 disc. If you want to add an Ipod or sat interface later on though, the 99-04 single with changer controls or 03-4 6 disc would be better choices. The single with the aux/changer controls will directly interface. The 03-4 6 disc will have the CD-DJ feature, some 02 will too, but it's hit or miss, this will allow you to use the internal changer and one other source with the changer controls.
