There's one in March also:

Off Road Expo Pomona (Fall)

The October event is usually more well attended, though.

Mudfest did draw thousands of people, that was the problem, too many people which=alot of drunk idiots in vehicles=no good, i think the last mudfest was the last one in august
should definatly look into muddigras though over in keanansville, draws huge crowds and is basically a more organized mudfest

If ford wanted a mud truck or a trail truck they should have built one, what they built is a pre runner truck, so desert racing is going to be there biggest crowd.

Independent suspension, front or rear, does not last in the world of big mud.
Trails it can work, i would look for something like a jeep fest or such...

Already marketed as a race ready truck out of the box. Desert, desert, desert. Marketing can limit peoples perception of a product. Need to have it at a drag strip, and run it,

ex Commerce Ga, summer nationals.

Show that it can do more than run through the desert. Even better would be a drag against a Z 71 and Tundra, ONLY if it could win. Prob not though.

It def. will not beat anything in a drag with the 5.4 unless it has some serious gearing.
