2 quick questions. Did any superduties come factory with coarse thread front lugnuts? Also, is the front end the same width from a single wheel as a dually? I know there is a spacer to make it wider and all, but, from brake rotor to rotor, is it the same width as a single wheel??? (I want to put a 16x10 rim on the front of my dually if possible, for a wide front tire, and remove the spacer) please answer this someone, no one knows apparently. Be the first to give me an answer

It is an 03 dually. I want to take the spacers off the front, which have 8 lugs and thin coarse thread nuts. Then buy coarse threds lug nuts and put a rim on there, eliminating the wide spacing. I dont carry a spare tire anyway due to the 35's I already have on the truck so thats not a worry with me.

My very bad memory is telling me that YES you can remove the spacers and run regular rims on the front.
But I'd wait to hear from someone who has actually done it.
