since our injectors bench flow 95 cc of fuel maxed out and we only use a fraction of that amount of fuel through our engines why do we have to upgrade the tips and nozzles of our injectors to push more fuel when they can already pump tons of fuel on a bench test
What do you mean "...We only use a fraction of that through our engines..."???
At 3k rpm, and as much fuel as a custom chip calls for, you're getting pretty much every last drop available.
And you only need to stroke the Piston more to get more fuel without adding larger nozzles. I know someone who saw 430 hp on stock nozzles. Actually I think there are a few guys...
Upgrading to larger nozzles will get the fuel out in a quicker time, thus more power. Larger nozzles do not change the displacment of an injector, just the time it takes to empty it.
And the stock AA injectors hardly pump "tons of fuel." Adding an entry level injector like a Stage-1 with good programming will add about 100 hp on a truck with just a chip. And that's on stock nozzles, too...
