Rode a bicycle around it too - on the way to the bogs/marshes on the point north of it. There are trails through there.

I can see you are a postaholic, maybe I can introduce you to some folks that that will seem familiar

They built a Chapter from nothing into a wildfire....

Maybe you'll do the same for the Virginia Chapter. I don't know, I can't predict it. I have a feeling about this though....

SAY HELLO TO THESE FOLKS

You keep an eye on the Deleware people - they've done a world of barbecues and meet&greets. Shows, and all kinds of things. What I reckon made it work is that they just never quit!

They just cain't help themselves... They are that sociable!

Out of all of it they have had some wonderful times, and things goin' on that are the envy of all of FTE; and all it was about was folks having a good time with other folk.

I've always thought Virginia could do the same - SOUTHERN STYLE!!!

You just might be the one to make it all come together.

YOU GO, BOY!

Them that don't become a part of it have only themselves to blame...

ooo im the one.. like neo LOL ive always thought the same too that virginia was like a cool party state... but in recent yrs with couple of the local car clubs that opinions gone grim.. but i think part of that was because they acted differently online than they did in person...

but same time im that way online and in person too.. not that i change how i am or what i say in person is any different.. its just.. online i have an easier time expressing myself and talking with people... but if ya get me in person im shier than a june bug in december... im pretty much a wall flower during social events... quiet.. smile alot with a stupid grin that gets welded to my face some how... ect ect... i clam up...

but once i get use to being around people and ya get me talking.. sometimes ya wont get me to shut up either lol... specially if ya get me on the right subjects lol..

Well - you up over fifty now, if that don't do it by tomorrow night, something IS wrong.

But I imagine the website has to reset at some point, and that is when it will "CLICK".

I'm glad for tonight, and the chance to meet and "FLY" with you. I seriously think you'll DO!

You're alright, pleased to meet you!

Look here - I've met a handful of virginia FTE people - and never met one that wasn't someone worth knowing.

Every one of them that stood up and said hello was good people.

Them what hides - well, they can do that. But you don't have to have a "SUPER CHIEF" to have a damned good ford truck. I respect those who keep a rolling pile of other owners mistakes together more than I do people with dealer service contracts. I've always built my own out of other peoples leavings. What I ended up with makes me proud.

THAT is a true truck owner. That is trucker spirit....

Far as being bashful, well...

A bonfire on the beach, and good fishing can bring a whole mess of people together. So can deer season.

But you get me talking about motors and trucks, and I can't keep my mouth shut, I just can't...

lol true... just like with my stang... ive heard some many people complain about the poor performance of the engine.. but i sit there and watch them all practically put the same mods on that dont work that everyone else has done.. instead of looking for what does work and using that... i think its funny i really havent done much to mine at all performance wise and can keep up with the stock v8 guys easily... least till we get to the point where those 2 extra cylinders really help them with muscling speed wise...

DON'T get me started. Tom Morana makes a V6 manifold for V6 engines that allows a four barrel to be mounted on it. He just asks too much for the part ($400.oo).

Kripes if I'll go there.....

What you can do instead is get a truck EFI intake for the same engine because it has more flow, and bolt it right on.

There you go - I need to quit before I go into it any deeper. But the truck intakes are and always have been bigger flow ported.

351C was designed as a truck engine to begin with, and the factory four barrel (4V) heads and intakes had ports so huge you could stick your whole hand in them....

I know, because I rebuilt an engine some say never existed. 351M

It was the factory four barrel version of the Clevester. It had four bolt main caps.

The car it was in was a 73 Grand Torino 2door

A car that I'm tired of arguing the existance of.

sweet...

i know the feeling no one would believe me at first what my engine was... till more and more people showed up with it... it was a 1 yr run engine... and had many changes in it from what ive found looking up every little detail on it almost 5 yrs now... ive actually had arguements with people that say that theres no differences between it and the previous model engine...

A four barrel is a single intake manifold. As far as I know there is only one manifold style. no hi-rise, no tunnel ram, no mid-rise, just one.

OOPS! I just checked the site - it's gone.

Not the site, but the 4bbl intake

THIS is what they do now:

Tom Morana Racing Engines

He's a V6 specialist

If you hunt around that site you'll see ways to bullet proof a V6

i was meaning price to price... comparing that 4brl to my upper intakes price... ya thought 400 was expensive mines 1150 for just the upper... lowers another 300....
