Speed cable??????? how where what, HUH?
OK I need some help on my truck's speedometer cable. Where is it and what does it look like? pic would be great! trucks speedometer does not work. what should i check?

If it's a '92 or newer truck the it doesn't have a cable it sends a signal from a sensor on the rear end to the speedometer, then from there to the computer. If it's an '87 to '91 then the cable will be screwed into the side of the transmission housing on the drivers side.
