Any ideas!!!!
Have a 92 F150 4x2. Has the 302 motor with 195,000 basically untouched miles. Got a miss when driving that usually occurs when cruising between 35 to 45 mph. Usually happens when you have accelerated into traffic or go up a hill and then ease up on the accelerator to cruise. This has been going on for several months and I thought it would get worse and possibly easier to figure out but the problem has stayed consistent. I have also noticed the miss when pulling the boat and coming to stop and at idle. Changed plugs, distributor cap, button, plug wires but that has not cured it. Put a gauge on the fuel rail and see how much time the pressure takes to bleed down when the engine is shut off. Maybe an injector hangin. Buildup in the combustion chambers can cause that also. A can of "Seafoam" through the power brake booster Vac line during a warm Idle, shut off for 15 mins. then restart and rev til the front of your hood is once again visible throgh the smoke. Great stuff. If you've never tried it, you haven't seen it all yet! I use it prior to every oil change. But if you use it too much, you'll go blind! Or maybe that was something else. Yea, I'm sure that was about something else.
