The prices from last year have me in a scare though, i remember those fuel bills and that wont be easy to forget.

i calculated how much it cost us in fuel to drive to NL 2 falls ago vs what it would cost me now... only about 700.00 difference...

isn't that retarded???

I'm going to need to see some math for that one, are you saying it's more expensive now or then.

Because gas prices in Ontario are at .75cent range at the moment and have been as low as .63 cents in places for a couple of days.

I don't even want to know what it would have cost me to go east if I'd have gone last summer!!!!! It was bad enough at $1.10/L. At $0.83, it'd hurt a little less. I never did add up my fuel costs for the trip. It would have hurt too much..... If prices hold (and I get the vacation time I'm hoping to) I'll be taking the PSD on a raod trip again this spring to Nor Cali. We'll see.... I can only haul so much B100.

A comment was made on the news last nite about gas going back up to $1.10 by May long weekend. We`ll have to see if there is a follow up on that today.

Gas in Moose Jaw is still $.74 but Regina is up to $.83. Diesel is around $.87 so far this morning anyways.

It sounds right on par IMO. It was just getting too cheap, the government was missing out on the pie, and they like their piece of the pie!

Actually I heard it was opec. Either way it sucks.

Seems that OPEC has very little to do with the current world oil price, when they threatened to turn off the tap awhile back the price still dropped way down to way under $40 a barrel. I think it`s either the oil companies or the futures speculators driving up the price.

I thought I heard that opec was cutting back on production, driving the price of fuel up. I read it on FTE somewhere, if I come across it again, Il post a link to it.
