Darksider Frame Question
Can someone tell me how much clearance there is between the cab and crossmember that is in between the running board brackets. You may be able to see what I am up against with the driveshaft in this pic.( For you stock guys, I'm sorry but this is the only picture I have showing the problem.) I think I can just C Notch the cross member and box it without raising it any. But most of the time I think wrong. That whole C*#@y thing is going to haunt me to the end.

Sorry. I guess that would help.
1955 F100
It had a Turbo 350 when I bought it. Going to a 700R4 that is longer.
