advice on guages

I would like to install a dp tuner f5 in my stock minus exhaust 1999.5 f250. Is something like the edge attitude ok to use in place of "conventional" guages? It seems like it would be easier to find a spot for than round guages. THANKYOU

It would work. The only thing people say about the digital gauges is that they are hard to read while at WOT. The regular gauges, all you have to do is look where the needle is and you know where you are at.

Welcome to FTE. Not bashing any of the digital equipment but i agree with Rick above, i like watching them needles move.

Go with the edge evo not the the juice it gives way better parameters to monitor the juice is very limited and yes they are very hard to read at wot but they do the job and the evo will start beeping if you get too high on any parameteres that you have set.

I like my "cockpit" look with dial gauges.

I've always heard that those types of gauges/ monitors get their info from the PCM and that the PCM is either not as accurate...or that the PCM is having things purposely modified / hidden from it by the chip that is installed. For these reasons, I've heard to go for the real gauges.
