Ram steering assist?
I have F350 with a 8" lift 37" tires. I was thinking about getting a redneck ram steering assist kit from westtexasoffroad.com, the price is awesome about, 500 bucks for a rebuilt steering box, fitted for hydro lines, and ram. Anyways this wouldnt be for wheeling, just to make turning the 37's nice and easy, especially for the wife. Anyway what do you guys think, is worth it, I mean the steering really isnt that bad now but takes a little more effort with the bigger tires. Or should I spend that 500$ on something else. Any input/advice/experience is appreciated.

I once saw a ram kit that used a custom bar to connect the two spindles. The bar was bent so when you turned the steering, it he bar moved around and eventually moved the spindle. While it might help pushing big tires, be mindful of the geometry because it can make the steering scary to unsafe if you use bargain parts.
