welding custom exhaust
Hi i was wondering what the best method of welding an custom exhaust would be. I have heard mig welding is the best but i dont have a mig welder. I have brasing equiptment and a 240volt stick welder. Will one of these work well or should i use mig welding or what. Im putting a custom exhaust on a jeep with a 351w. Any tips appreciated! thanks

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 07-Jan-03 AT 00:16 AM (EST)]Just about any custom exhaust shop you go to will you a torch setup to make exhaust welds. They also use a special exhaust welding wire that has a lower melting point than regular steel wire does.
