Ravin Mufflers

I just put on a Ravin z55 muffler si/do. I am extreamly happy with the sound and rumble. It has a real low rumble at idle and deep rumble when you get on it.

It is a cat back system with stock cats. 3" in - 2.5 out.

What was your total price? They are charging me $145 for the muffler and $100 for installing and using the same pipe. I was looking for a one inn and dual outlet.

a ravin muffler should run you from about 75 to about 100 plus instalation unless you know someone who can get a discount i would go with the 33 series they are louder and sound better i have 2 ravin 33 series with 2.5 pipe on my 73 highboy with a 460 i bent true duals from the manifolds back and it sounds pretty mean , oh yeah i work at midas so i had the pipe bender and got the pipe and mufflers cheaper

I can't imagin wanting louder then the z55. It is loud enough in the cab. This thing really rumbles.

It is just my personal opinion.

I just ordered a Z33 with 2.5" pipe cat back system from Midas....171 something after taxes...not to bad. The engine its goiong on is a 1995 4.9L in a F-150...think this will sounds pretty good or no? how about fuel mileage, and power? more low-end or top-end? right now with NO muffler and tailpipe ive got tons more top end than i used to but my low end is like dead. I kinda just want a happy medium

Well with 3" in and 2.5 out I saw a noticeable increase on the low end, and it sounds great. Best of both worlds.
