What would be the best O2 for an '89 F250 with a 5.8? Will one from Autozone or Advanced Auto be sufficient? Or should i order one from summit? I just want a good one that will last awhile...
Bosch. OEM manufacturer, very good quality, available at major auto parts stores. Just make sure the guy behind the counter doesn't give you a "universal" one. They make them for specific vehicle applications with the correct pigtail and wire length in place as well as a generic one for a few bucks less. Pony up the few bucks and get the correct one. If you don't have any, get some anti-seize for the threads too. A can of PB Blaster and a few days of presoaking on the old one is highly recommended too.
