Oil pressure drops
I've got a 93 with around 220k mi.. I've replaced oil pump twice 1st time defently need it 2nd don't know,but replace becouse I tore in to it. I say not sure becouse it look good ,and picked up old oil easily when I spun it with allen wrench. It's been about 250 mi. since 2nd pump. I took an hour long ride and when I got there check engien light was on. Check oil, its o.k.. did what I had todo. Drive home .On my road presser drop to 0 (on dumby gauge)and she start knocked backing up driveway. I change oil & filter seems o.k. no more knocking and running good. Shortly after I install a mechanical oil gauge. She starts and idel at 50+, when it gets to normal temp(mile or 2) it'll drop to 30 at idel and 40+ driveing. I know the oil change is a temp fix and the problems still there.I've got some thougts but sure could use help.I've grown fond of the old truck and the 4.9 is a great motor.

I'm afraid it's goning to dye again. I was thinken maybe bad lifter ,clouged push rod,cloaged oil retern don't know.I think its going to be a prob in future and thought maybe someone been threw it.I can't believe I got 2 bad pumps & 200 mi. is'nt that far to need oil change and no presure
