kinda off the subject but could you put an inline filter on the truck on on each tank and combine them after the selector in to the stock diesel line and switch the pumps and help our stock pump

I've wondered why no one is putting fuel pumps in the tanks? It seems like that would be an easy thing to do since it appears that the wiring is already there. I noticed that when I dropped my tanks to do the filler neck mod that there is four wires going to the tank but only one is being used for the fuel level switch. I need to trace those wires back and see where they go. They might just end at the connector. You could use the tank selector switch to determine which pump would be running. Of course it would require two pumps but I kinda like the idea.
