Through my research I have found that fewer Flaresides were built compared to Stylesides. I have a 1964 F100 Flareside. Can anyone tell me if the Flareside is more desirable to own over the Styleside? I think they just look cooler. I would think that because the numbers are low it would be worth a little more.
I think it is more of a personal preference than anything else.
If I were looking for one that would be the last thing that would make or break a deal. I think they are both look good an a nice truck.
First and foremost, if I have not already done so, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to FTE.
Have not seen any stat's, or poles on the topic, my impression is the stylesides may be slightly favored over the flareside and may have a better resale value. Have a 65 short bed flareside, and a 65 long bed styleside and don't prefer one over the other. Replacement sheet metal and bed components are still available for the flareside; whereas, I have not seen any for the styleside.
