Having a 7.3 breathe better and run cooler, and monitoring exhaust and tranny temps will contribute to reliability, longevity, mileage and power.

Well, I picked it up yesterday. It has factory exhaust and intake. I had the local muffler shop remove the cat and the muffler and replace them with straight pipes. The intake has been updated due to the recall. I still plan on doing the other intake. I got to looking at the down pipe, it seems like a round 3" pipe will be a har to fit item due to the firewall. Can I get a bolt in 3" DP and if I can where can I find one? No matter how hard I get on the truck it wont smoke. I know it sounds wierd but is that a good or bad thing?
