Power fluxuating?
Hello everyone. I have a few questions.
Does your truck feel like it has more power some days than others?
How much does your motor's temperature affect performance?
Is it possible to have compression loss and not burn oil?

my truck's power fluctuates allot... but I got a diesel and I know my ip is bad.
bad valve seating, eg: burnt valve or cracked seat can give you low compression and not effect oil consumption.
Engine temp can effect performance allot... older carburated engines having the most noticeable difference and the newer efi less...

I have neither a Diesel or a Carb'd motor so I don't know what the deal is.
