Intake tube

I was wondering if anybody has a early 99 intake tube from the turbo to the ccv? Mine has a rip right at the turbo and I think it is getting a little dusting. I have tried to put some gasket material on it to seal it up with no success. I have seen posts like this before here, I hope it is ok. If not let me know and I will repost.

Sure, it's fine to ask for help. You need to get that fixed even if you have to order a new one. Dust is not a friend to our engines.

EDIT: send Ron, Rons PowerStroke a PM, He has upfitted a lot under his hood and my can help you.

LOL! 2 minutes isn't much of a span for a bump!
Check around at diesel repair or big truck repair places. A piece of 4" (I think) flex pipe would work. You have already done the CCV mod, right?

He is wanting from the turbo to the CCV so 4" flex will not work it throttles down at the turbo.

Edit: Sorry I can not help either.

The stock turbo inlet is only 3", so it needs to taper down from 4"...

Mine was cracked right at the clamp as well. It gets real stiff with age due to the heat. I picked one up at the dealer for around $65 bucks.

I wonder if it would be worth it to "create" the entire thing from the turbo to the filter out of 4" PVC with a reducer on the turbo. Would there be a temp problem attaching PVC to the turbo?
Then the next question, how to keep it attached to the turbo....
Just thinking...

If you email one of those guys, make sure you send a picture with the part you're looking for circled. I had a similar problem on a work truck and had to take the counter guy outside and show him which piece I needed on my truck since he kept trying to give me the part that went from the filter box to the CCV bracket.
