fuel help

I start my truck and fuel is gushing out of valley on motor. I think it`s behind fuel filter, theres a little yellow thing that moves around if you touch it. I moved it about (spun) 90 degrees and fuel was pouring out again. What the heck is it? Do you think I can drive about 3 miles to repair the prob?Need some help here

That is the fuel bowl drain valve the o-rings are probably shot.

Edit: If you are only going about 3 miles you should be fine. Keep an eye on it though.

Hank?
Have you not drained it in the past? Replaced the fuel filter?
I just thought it an odd question from someone with all the listed mods and 400+ posts...
But then again, some ppl purchased used with mods already done.

Well, at least you've drained the fuel bowl recently, LOL!
Get some Simple Green or Purple Power and clean up the valley.
