Computer Hiccup?
Over the weekend I had to stand duty on my ship. My truck was parked in the parking lot for 24hrs in 25f degree weather. No rain. (Don't know if any of that matters, just throwing it out there). Got out to my truck, turned the key, waited for the WTS light to go out, and started it. Let it run at idle for a couple minutes. Put it into reverse, backed out of my space, and put it in drive. Pressed on the gas, and nothing! Just an idling engine. Out of curiousity I looked up at the thermometer, and there was no display. I looked at my gages, and no readings whatsoever. So, I turned off the engine, restarted, and everything has been fine since.
Is there something about to take a crap? Loose connection? Something?

Check under dash fuse 19. Reseat it. This fuse is for Idle Validation Switch, Overhead Console, instrument cluster, overdrive cancel switch and GEM. Fuses have been known to cause intermittent trouble that is why you should reseat it.
