Lug Nuts???

Ok, it's stupid question time..

I've got a 2006 F350 SuperDuty 6.0

I'm swapping the mud tires on my truck for a set of stock rims/tires. But, no one has the lug nuts in stock...

One store told me that 14X1.5 is my size, another said 14X2.0 is the size..

Everything on EBay points towards 14X1.5 for my size -- Can anyone here confirm this?

14mmx1.5 is your size.

03+ is 14mmx1.5
99-02 was 14mmx2.0

Weird.. Auto Zone says 14X2 fits "2003+", but Advanced Auto says 14x1.5

Either way I'm stuck, because they didn't stock either.. So I'll hit the dealer in the morning.

I'm putting a set of 08 wheels on my 06. I'm safe in assuming I just use stock lugs for an 06 right?

Auto Zone is wrong, Advanced is right.

If you are using stock 08 wheels......you'd just use your stock lug nuts from your 06, yes.

Awesome, thanks! It's going to kill me to slap factory wheels back on for the winter, but I really need traction!!!

Stock lugs from any model year from the recent past will work. The part number is 2C2Z-1012-AA. Be ready for a little sticker shock at the dealer though. They MSRP for $6.72 ea...

No traction with your larger tires?

I drove a few years with 38/15.50s w/o any real issue in the snow.....of course I was in 4x4 all the time in the snow.

Traction is horrible. I'm running 35X12.5X18's right now. (Pro Comp Xterrain). I live on a VERY steep hill. I got stuck the other day (in 4X4 LOW) trying to push snow up my driveway. The truck just sat that spinning... While this was going on an 08 F350 Diesel drove up my street pushing snow at about 10MPH. He was having NO problems.. 10 minutes later when I got myself un-stuck, I almost drove to the dealer and traded my truck in

I run 325/60R18 Goodyear Silent Armor Pro Grades on my 07 that I plow with.

Yep, I just got a set of 18" dealer take-offs with NO miles on them for $400. The guy wanted to clear out his garage and had no use for them. I never thought buying LUG NUTS would hold me up like this!!

These are 245's. Should give me a bit more traction.
