Floor question

Hi guys, I recently bought some used floors for my 66, on the drivers side close to the trans tunnel there is a plate on the bottom that looks like it may be a bracket to run a a line or cable of some sort threw it . It has threaded holes and looks like something bolts to it. I dont remember anything like this on my old floors but they were rusted pretty bad so i am not sure if there was something that rusted away on my old floors. I was just wondering what it may be. I didnt get a picture but i will try to get one so you can see what i am talking about. thanks Justin heres the link to the pic

That is for the floor mounted throttle pedal. Some had a hanging pedal some dont.

Thanks Garbz i think mine mounts to the firewall i would have to check its been so long since i took it out. Thanks Justin

I bet thats from the 65 cab that got chopped up from Cali and was on ebay...cab was near perfect...anyway, those are for the floor mounted pedal as garbz2 said...its a 65 only setup for the floorpan style...the earlier ones had a slightly different floorpan but 65 and 6 are identical with the sole exception of some 66s having leftover 65 cabs originally...

CS65 yep i got it from ebay. i also got the passenger side too.
Carras, thanks, i have been working on it a long time. Now that i have the ford floor pans everyone is going to think i am nuts but i am taking out the drivers side that is done and putting in the ford ones. I just dont like the aftermarket floors after i got them in. thanks, justin

Hey camper Don !!

I'm sad to admit that I am about ready to chop up my " near perfect " spare cab. Can't sell it? Every one wants it (rust free floor pans) but no one wants to come get it.

Don't hate me!! But some must die so others may live.
