gpr install trouble

i just got my glow plug relay in last night and figured i would put it in after i got off work today and all would be good. a couple things, it may just be my truck but there are like 4 different size nuts out of 6 total on the thing. anyway i got the old one out feeling pretty good since i suck as a mechanic. then i went to put the new one in. (i will do my best to explain this) the new one seems complete opposite of the old one. the two main posts on the gpr sit a different way then the original when placed into the truck. my main question is how do i know where to put the hot wire and where to put the ground and then what are the 2 small wires??? does anyone have a clue what i am talking about???

Big wires go on the big terminals (opposite of each other) and small wires go on the small terminals. I've been told that you can't mix them up but i'm not 100% shure. Link https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...raded-gpr.html

There's no polarity on the terminals just don't mix the wires.
