TS Outlaw Event Campground site survey

I am planning on running up to Beech Bend within the next two weeks to check out the management, campgrounds and policies. All this to see how party friendly the management is so folks planning to attend the TS Outlaw event scheduled in May can decide if they want to camp. I am looking for the campfire atmosphere with no worries about driving.

This event is scheduled May 8th and 9th. Yes, Mother’s day weekend. I plan to camp, along with JTHarvey and WhiteBuffalo.
<o></o>
To the business: I want to get an idea of about how many folks plan to attend and camp at the campgrounds. I will see if they are receptive to sectioning off an area for the event attendees, so that we don’t “bother” anybody. I will also attempt to answer any questions that you folks may come up with.
<o></o>
If you are not more than 50% sure you will attend and camp, don’t respond. Hotel folks, don’t respond. So look over the links, and your calendars, and let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

EDIT: I am trying to get an idea of how many folks/campsites we are talking about. I am open to all questions that you may need answers to though they need to focus on the camping area. For event stuff, please contact the sponsor. I may try to go to TS as well while up there. Oh, gonna post this elsewhere too.

I will go but not a 100% sure on camping yet depends on if Rick (miller_feed) and Jim get to go if I stay at the camp ground thoguh as a back up me, huck and Scott have talked about renting a camper. It would be a good idea when we get the number of campers set to rent out a couple of spots if it isn't to much for parking. It doesn't look like we'll have the room that Crazy Horse had.

What are you talking about? That campground was about 80% empty so of course we had plenty of room. Besides, we stayed in a small section of it anyway. What do you mean Justin?

I didn't know that they campground was empty. I know that at Smokin if we didn't have that one spot open next to Brandon's site we wouldn't have had much parking right there.

Roll in Friday, leave on Sunday.

BTW, I did not say that campground would be empty. There was a lot of PSN folks there last year from what I hear, along with the Drudges and Chebbies. Not many camped, I am hoping that will change. There is an amusement park on site that attracts a family crowd. It was not there the last time I went to that drag strip so IDK?

FWIW, I wouldn't mind to roll in Thursday afternoon/eve to get setup, if Rich is capable of that. The open house at TS is on Friday, and I would like to attend that. Coming in on Friday though is not at all a deal breaker for me.

There will be guys at this even from a lot of different forums as well, PSN, Comp D, etc... This is far from a Ford only event. Probably see mostly Dodge and Duramax actually. Still some bad *** trucks, which is what excites me.

We would love to go, but it would have to be next year. Do they have this every year?

I'm either going to be at the campsite,or a few miles up the rode across from the Corvette Museum. Just depends on what others are going to do.
