master cyclinder leaking from Reservoir
Have a 1777 ford F-250 4x4 that is leaking brake fluid from top of reservoir. changed out the old master cyclinder and the new one has the same problem. Rear brakes are drum front are Disc, also changed the rear brake wheel cyclinders. Anybody have any answers on what could be causing this problem?

Well I didnt know that Henry Ford was making trucks in 1777,,,ha ha ha ---just messing with ya,,,,,The only thing that pops in my head,,is a few months back my dads chevy 1/2 ton was doing the same thing,,,well before that had started one of the calipers had started sticking,,,replaced it and still had problems,,,,then started to notice the grease hub was geating extreamly hot and the fluid started coming from the master cylinder,,,,,well I checked EVERYTHING----and ended finding out that both of the rubber brake lines had become deterating from the inside ,,,causing blockage so the fluid wouldnt travel correctly,,, once I flushed the brake system and found big chucks of black rubber I knew what was goin on-- replaced the lines,,,and was fixed,,,,just a thought to ponder on,,,,,,,,,,,,Robert
