is it deffinately missing or more shaking?? if so both problems could be the dual mass flywheel.. one of my work trucks was like that it felt like it was missing only at idle.. and the 3rd gear was the only gear to grind... its just a thought

What all does the dual mass flywheel do?

well i honestly dont know... all of my ford mechanic buddys tell me that they are great when they work good.. wich is rare.. my truck was converted before i got it

Its basically 2 flywheels instead of one. Dual en mass.

The dual flywheels is suppose to absorb more vibrations then a single flywheel would. However, they tend to come apart and vibrate.
