We have a 2005 f250, had the brakes done and the [FONT='Calibri','sans-serif']Universal joint replaced on the front left side of four wheel drive now the abs sensor light is on. I have codes they are c 1234 and c 1155. If I change the sensors do I have to take the truck to a ford dealer to reset anything or will it light clear[/FONT]

 

Take a look at the sensors on the hubs. It's likely that shop didn't full seat the plug or knocked the sensor off during installation.

I don't believe the codes will just go away. You need to either disconnect the battery or have them cleared by the dealer to get the lamp to shut off.

 

Thanks for the help. Ford dealer said I have to replace both sensor.
