The Stock wires are 8MM silicone.
The Original Motorcraft wires had a lifetime warranty. However, they could not be abused, or "worn out". etc...
I used nothing but motorcraft parts on my truck for a long time, and they work really well. I wish I could find a set of Motorcraft Wires, they have been obsolete for a while now for my 300-6.
The closest wire set I could find are made by Borg Warner "BWD". They are exactly the same as the stock wires in appearance, except the Ford script is removed from them. The Distributor Cap and Rotor are also made by "BWD", and are made exactly like the Motorcraft parts, at least in apearance.
Which Is something you cant say about Duralast.

well i just went and got some duralast wires. and omg what a difference. i didnt realize how bad of shape the old ones were in but now. NO MISSES!!!! it runs like a dream. Finally got a nickname for my truck. Little Frankenstein. IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!
