really deep rims....
ok i bought some 15x12 cast alumnum wheels off a buddy of mine. i have searched far and wide to find a tire that would fit it, fit under my truck, and not cost me both arms. i found some 295/50/r15, would they fit a rim that deep? if not where can i find some that would fit on the back of a stock 85 f150 stepside/flairside whatever its called.... i have called and driven all over trying to find tires.... please HELP!

Each vehicle is different. No one on here is going to be able to tell what tires are going to fit. But I can tell you it sounds like you are going to need a lift, or fender modifications to make a rim that wide fit. Rims that wide also are hard on wheel bearings. I think you are finding out why your buddy sold you the wheels.
