D60 right? Not much at all if you find a donor truck with all the parts. They made two types of D60's for these trucks, one with king pins (early) and one with ball joints (later). Some say the king pin is the stronger of the two. You will need the differential, trackbar and bracket and the mount plate for the driver side spring/u-bolts. I would also get the steering components (tie rod, drag link etc including the pitman arm since some say it's required). TTB steering is not compatible with the exception of the steering box. Get the front drive shaft too (some say you need it, some don't). If the differential came out of a DRW truck, you will need to remove the DRW adapters and install a set of D50 hubs (which you might already have). The F250 HD brakes (D50) are the same as the F350 D60 except for the rotors which may be DRW specific (if your diff came from a dually, in this case you would re-use your D50 rotors). If you need to re-gear, then that adds some more fun. Common ratios are 3.54:1 and 4.10:1. 4.56:1 was a rare option. The diff carrier is gear specific, that is a 4.10 carrier can only be fitted with = or lower ratio (3.54 for instance). If you want 4.88's you will need to replace the carrier or find specific gears that are compatible with the 4.10 and lower carrier. This is also a good time to replace the front springs and shackles. Simple bolt-in right?
I'm in the process of collecting parts for my SAS.
