Just got around to calling the above listing this AM. No answer/didn't leave message. Will try later TD. Had a bunch of junk come up this past week & weekend so didn't get around2it as quick as I wanted.

I checked the current listings, but didn't see anything new. Did you see something else?

Guys I want you to know what a great Chapter leader we've got.

He helped me get a nice set of casings for my rusty old 73 for nothing. Then stood around & listened to me run my mouth, showed me his great shop space & projects till dark. Long past the time he should have been home having supper.

Gives me great hope for our fledgling lil' chapter.

Atta' boy Barry.

No problem David, I'm always up to help a fellow member.

It's been a while since I posted, I haven't been doing anything productive lately on the trucks, I've still got to run the hard lines for my front brakes, This is a major hurdle for me, I think if I can get this done I can move a little faster on getting more things done.
Mechanicing (sp?) has never really been a strong point of mine (spelling either haha), my field of expertice is paint and body work, I can't wait until I can get back to doing more of that, although I've done alot on the 66 already. I'll post up some pics in a couple of days. Ya'll have a good week and let's hear how your project is going.

What's up folks? Just how do you spell mechanicing? mechanicking? mechaniking? mechanecking?

I orta be able to spell it creckly as much of it as I have done here lately.

Got gauges in the old F-250. Got the wrong thermostat in it for now. Ordered a Robertshaw 333 today. This ol' truck has been a pile of fun so far. And it runs like a top! Got about 40 miles on my first "real" tank of gas - without any trouble at all. Trying to figger out why the heater won't blow now. I needs the defogger!

Did any of you see the two-tune blue '79 body over in LA sell on ebay? Wish I would've seen it sooner.

Hey Barry.

My flare tool is a plumbing model (different angle), I'm shopping around for an automotive type & tutorial on how to use one right.

(On Edit) Whats the story on that old C-4 in your shop? Is it for the truck?

Attacked my crusty old rims with chemicals, wire brushes and sandpaper. Then dug out a sandbalast cabinet I built years ago. Should have the tires mounted before weeks out.

I appreciate that David. The C-4 is just a spare I reckon, It came with the 351 that's in the truck. I wanna see those wheels n tires when you get finished.

Get a double flare tool so you can to brake lines. Also never use copper line on a vehicle, it eventually work hardens and cracks.
