IT'S FRIDAY!!! PAY DAY!!!

Still wet here, but no rain - sunshine! Wind has dried the gravel roads.

Yep. Better move those brass monkeys inside for the next few days.

Does any hurt worse than a limb slapping a cold ear? Whew! . . . I get chills thinkin' about it.

Awww hell...

Year or so ago, "The City" got on my case to re-locate a rusty old pile of metal once known as a 73 Mustang. So me, my aircompressor & several bottles of fix-a-flat, my truck, a comalong, some C-clamps & a lot of cussing later, I got it inside my shop. Since then its big broad hood has served as a handy work table.

But I need my space. (And no, its not for sale) It needs to roll however.

Unfortuately The tires have completly dry rotted & gone long past the stage of even thinking of holding air.

So here's my problem...

Has anybody tried looking for used 14-inch tires lately???

I just promised the old firestone firehawks off my mustang to my friend with a 66 in the same condition as your 73. They are weather checked but still hold air. I'll look around and see if I have the tires off my boat trailer at work. Where are you?

I'm in Brandon. Still have a couple of "used" places to check in Jackson & Pearl. Went down to pull-a-part thinking they would have stacks of loose tires... Wrong! Most of the 14s where on the welded-up "jack stand" sets they use. Since there is no way to buy just a loose tire, you have to get them with rims, take'em & have broke down & return the rims for credit. Stopped at Mid-State... (1) tee-tiny lil' 14, not even a 195/75, which is about as small as I really want to go. Even for just rollers. She's a big girl with American Racing deep slots.

Thanks for looking out for me guys.

Happy Friday everyone. It was a miracle that no one was killed on the jet that went down yesterday. Praise the Lord.

It is cold. Ice in the horse trough was nearly an inch thick this morning.

Have you guys read about the new software changes? some are pretty cool, but I don't care for some of the changes. You'll see most in your public profile, we can even make friends now, LOL You can even see who visits your public profile. Watch out, big brother is watching.
Check it out.
