yeah we know how that goes, lets see contractor needs clutch job by monday, bart busts butt geets torn apart and flywheel to only machine shop that is open on friday, get ground goes back and gets it (100 miles total) stays up to get job finished has done by Saturday. contractor agrees to build office to trade for work, bart goes and gets all the materials and puts them in bay #2, a few weeks alter contractor shows up but it is too late in the day to get started. a few weeks later contractor shows up needing shocks replaced and frames office while bart changes shocks. a few weeks later contractor shows up and sheets outside od office. a few weeks later contractor shows up anr roughs in electrical ( bart put in all the boxes and light fixtures). a few weeks later bart has had enough contractor and hires brother in law to sheet rock office, just inside of 2 weeks brotherinlaw has all 16 sheets of sheet rock up, charges me $275.00 and I only had to change 2 pieces. bart cries bs and with help of wife tapes, muds ant textures office, other brotherinlaw swings by hangs and trims doors, wife primes it, bart builds shelfs wife is right now caulking the shelfs and is painting them tomorow. "Monday" the floor will be tiled (already paied for to .... you guessed it my brotherinlaw) oh well if I don't give him jobs he just comes by to beg for money so what am I to do?

anyhow I almost have my #2 bay cleared out and my office done so there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Bill could have hung drywall one day, tape and texture the next, sand, prime and paint the day after that.... and you would have been ahead of the game. tell Broinlaw to wash your trucks, they prolly need it

and I would have done it for an ELK steak!!

 

I would have cooked the ELK steak for you, I don't think I can afford for him to wash my truck, I am broke already!
and what do you mean my trucks need washed, I hosed it off after ELK season last year, and it had like 3 baths with soap last year.

 

I know what ya mean about the being broke! times are tough, and prolly gonna get worse before it gets better! hope we both can make it through this mess.
