Ordered a DP tuner today.

Well I finally made the decision today on DP vs TW and I went with the DP.
I know they are both good but if I ever want live tuning Jody is a lot closer to me.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
And I also got in on the sale with a free tune I hope. It would not accept the promotion code but I e-mailed DP and ask if they would correct it for me. <o></o>

You won't go wrong with either one of those choices, but you know what they say. Location, Location, Location. Jody's a lot closer, so that's a good choice for you. Of course the sale doesn't hurt things any.

Perhaps you missed the fine print, but you're supposed to tell us what tunes you got.

As Chris said you need to come off with what tunes are going on it.

Oh Yea thats the best part.
NS, Stock,High Idle 1000rpm, 80E, 120R, 140A and they were for the modified injectors and all are the code tunes.
Tony had a good price on his to.

Congrats on the order Eddie. I have had both the **** and now the F5. I really like the F5. Of course if I had done something more with the **** except have it hanging from the steering column, it would have probably been more user friendly.

I assume you have idle issues right now right?

My truck idles like crap. With that said, when I come to a stop I have the rumps. I can live with the cam idle at a stop light, but I will fix this in a few days. I will let you guys know how it comes out.

If you ever heard a truck idle coming off the line of a drag race, my idle is like that. I think I have the power. I can start off at 20 mph and spin the tires of my dually, all 4 of them. Me and Jody will decide this.

Yes I have some terrible idle issues and the romps. But my old chip does not help this at all. But the truck will run good other wise, like you say Rick I can light all 4 tires up also.
I am hoping the DP chip will take care of all of this and give me some more go fast

Remember the part about choosing Jody because he was closer to you in case you needed live tuning? From what I've read, running singles needs live tuning. I'd suggest you call and talk to Jody, and maybe go ahead and get the live tuning to start off with.

I hear what you're saying Chris, but I'm pretty sure Jody ought to have several files for those injectors by now. Those who have live tuned paid for that research.

EDIT: Duh, I get it now. Wonder why this is a problem for him then in light of what I said?
