GPR what now?

hey guys

i fitted a L.E.D to my GPR yesterday, cool mod and found that my light doesnt work, i sort of hijacked another GPR thread yeasterday (sorry bout that) and got a bit of feedback as to what to do (thanks tristan). i grabbed the multimeter from the yard and a length of wire to check if the LED was faulty.

checked the LED all good, put the multimeter on and nothing, i even checked the relay next to it, i think is the AIH one if im correct and nothing there either, i checked the hot side of both and had a reading of 12.5v the same as the battery. could both of these relays be stuffed, i have only had trouble starting it about 3 times in nearly 4 years, thoes times have been 0 degres or less, but after swiching the key off and trying the 2nd time she fired up.
is there anything else i can check guys to make total sure they are no good before i fork out for some new ones.

thanks in advance
josh

Secondly, heres a picture...the nut that the arrow from is ontop off from "GPR" is where you need to be testing and connecting the LED as well. Now if youve done everything correctly thus far someone else will have to chime in. I would suggest changing the GPR but if you checked something else as well and it didnt work, Im just not sure!

Well if worse comes to worse, just buy a Stancor GPR. Do a search for it and you will get the right model number. It will be around or cheaper than the OEM from the dealer and people swear by them! It goes in sideways or some weird way but it bolts in there and you wont have to replace it EVER again! Its a BEEFY monster! That way you wont have to worry about it and if your GPR DID work its another mod you have!

I dont know if you have an International dealer down there either....but if you do and ever need anything for this engine tell them you have a T444E....if you say 7.3L they will say restricted to ford only! (most of the time)

check this site out...it will tell u part numbers and install

Welcome to guzzle's Stancor GPR replacement Mod Web Page
