No NY resolutions for me. Would not keep them anyway. Well, that is not true. I have the standing resolution to have more s$x with the wife. haha

Put 90 miles on the snowmobile yesterday. That was a blast. Not perfect conditions but had fun anyway.

Good afternoon everyone!

No NYR for me, I learned long ago that I never keep them so why make them..... When I did make them they were the typical one to eat right, workout and drop a few lbs.

Brendan, this is for you!
So I go out this morning in search of some .223 ammo, and when I come out of the store there is 2 guys looking over my truck like crazy. First off, I'm like great, this will be fun, 2 against one... Just kidding! As I get closer they look up with big chit eating grins and say man you got a nice truck!!!! I said thanks and walked over and introduced myself, and then proceeded to tell them everything about my truck. They got real excited when I told them about chips and all the modding. They turned out to be father and son, and the dad (mike) has a 99.5 4x4 psd, and the son (Brandon) had on 01 psd same as mine. We talked for a good 20 minutes about the engine, the chips, exhaust, all the goodies. I of course passed on FTE and told them to stop in and say hi sometime, and if they need anything let me know. Great guys, both locals born and raised like me. Hopefully we see at least one of them here soon! Kind of a cool start to my day!!!! Brendan, thats kinda par for the course around here bro!

It is about close to waist deep in some places in south central Wisconsin.

I thought after that first sentence the story might end "so i ended up going back in to the store for more ammo, since I just used what I'd bought.." LOL!!!

That's awesome though!!! I've got a call in to my buddy in Portland to see how things are by him, so at worst I'll only be a couple hours away. I've been talking to more people about the potential move and have heard great things about both places, so it may come down to available jobs & housing costs. Still, I wouldn't mind being close to Canada... (I'm still single ya know!!)

Honestly, it seems like Portland may be better suited for you, as far as jobs go. The weather is a bit nicer, and it gets hotter in the summer. My buddy lives there and loves it, and he was born and raised in B'ham with me. You can always drive up from Portland and stay here and then we can hit up Canada! We just need to give Sheldon some notice!

Brendan, I am no world traveler by any means but I have met more cute, down to earth ladies from Iowa than anywhere else. And Lisa lives there now too. An added bonus. Just sayin...

Good afternoon, my Peeps!! Friggin' AWESOME day here today. It got over 70 deg, so I'm lovin' it! Gonna be chitty on Mon though -- they're talking ice storm. Blessing in disguise since I was supposed to be out field testing again. I need a down day to catch up on some administrative stuff...

Well, I'll catch up with y'all later. Gotta get back at it.

I grew up on a coast and I think I need to be within a few hours of one, at most. Land-locked/dry states don't see to do it for me, but I appreciate the info. I've got a good buddy that lives in Portland and I'm waiting to hear back from him. He's been there 4yrs now and we used to live about 10min apart, so he's perfect for giving me a comparo on the two locales.

Before Lisa moved, she live only 1/2hr or so from me and she's having enough trouble finding work herself anyway. Thanks for the thoughts though Jay!

Has anyone heard from Mark today, I am really getting worried about him. I just checked his profile and he hasn't been on since 12-31 at like 8am. I don't have any way to get a hold of him so if someone hears from him can you let the rest of us know, please.

I cannot find where I read it but someone posted that he had checked himself into the hospital but no one had been able to reach him at that time.
